By using world-renowned rehabilitation professionals as our Instructors, Med Bridge provides learners the ability to significantly augment their own clinical skills and ultimately achieve improved patient outcomes.Laurie Hartman is the author of "Handbook of Osteopathic Technique" and is a world-renowned expert on osteopathic technique and manual therapy.In 1985 his presentation at the Australian Manipulative Therapists Association Conference in Brisbane entitled 'The Straight Leg Raise Test and Spinal Posture' helped to sparked an interest in mobilization of the nervous system.Louie relocated to the USA with his family in 1995, where he received his OCS (Orthopedic Certified Specialist) in 1996 and recertified in 2006.He has two textbooks in their 2nd edition and a third textbook in its first edition. Cook has a long-standing history of service roles as an editor-in-chief or associate/special topics editor for multiple journals including JOSPT and BJSM. Cook has won numerous awards locally at Duke for teaching, is the 2009 Baethke-Carlin award winner for the American Physical Therapy Association, is the 2008 recipient of the Helen Bradley career achievement award, and is the 2005 winner of the J Warren Perry Distinguished Authorship Award. Cook is also the 2011 winner and was the 20 co-winner of the AAOMPT Excellence in Research Award.He has been married 26 years to a physical therapist (Amy) and has three wonderful boys, Zach, Jaeger and Simon. Terry Malone received his Ed D and MSPT from Duke University in North Carolina and his BA from Bluffton College in Ohio.
Read full bio Chad Cook, PT, Ph D, MBA, FAAOMPT is professor at Duke University, the program director of the Doctor of Physical Therapy division with a category A appointment in the Duke Clinical Research Institute.Mark Looper is the managing partner of Olympic Physical Therapy of Kirkland, and is one of the principle partners in Olympic Physical Therapy.Mark is the consulting physical therapist for the Seattle Seahawks Professional Football Team.He also completed his Ph D in Physical Therapy through Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2011.Louie is currently an assistant professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
